Fried or Grilled Fish - Indian Style

Ingredients:
- 1 kilo fish (any kind)
- 1 teaspoon chilly powder or quantity according to your ability to withstand the pungency
- 1/4 teaspoon tumeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Mix chilly powder, tumeric powder and salt into a paste with a little water, apply paste to fish and let stand for an hour to marinade.
- In a frying pan add a little oil and put the fish in when oil is heated well. Fry on one side until well done, turn over and do the same.
- Serve with sliced onions and a cut of lime or lemon.
- For a different taste try adding some crushed ginger and garlic to the paste.
