I am writing to you asking for your help. We recently had a burglary where we sufferd rather a large loss. We had a large boat and trailer stolen along with other outboard engines also being taken. The total loss came in at around $40,000. We never had expected that a boat could be taken from our yard because of the way our security fence was set up. Nevertheless the thieves found a way to break through the gate and where able to tow away this boat.
      Our insurance for the outside areas was only for $10,000. Subsequently we are now out of pocket by $30,000. As you could probably imagine we are quite desperate to recover the boat.
      My hope is that you could display the following photo and information some
where on your web page. We understand if this is not convienient or possible to do this, but if it is we would greatly appreciate it.
      The burglary took place on Wednesday night 16th May.

STOLEN BOAT DETAILS:
The boat stolen is a Savage Surveyor, White Hull, and White Deck with Navy Blue Flash. It is the same hull as the Mako cuddy. It was fitted with full camping covers, is on a Tinka single axle trailer with hydraulic override brakes, and is (or was) powered by a 140HP Mercury.
      The Surveyor is a relatively new model and there are not a lot around. The HIN is moulded in the hull on the starboard side below the gunwale. It could be fibreglassed out though and a different number used or none at all.
