New to Melbourne, seeking fly fishing locations
Neil Beckett writes:
I currently live in the UK and should be migrating to Australia early next year. I will be living around the Narre Warren (south east) suburb area of Melbourne. I love my fly fishing for trout in the UK and would be grateful if someone could guide me to potential trout and fly fishing locations in the Melbourne area. Thanks in advance. Neil.

Neil, I'm not a fly guy myself. But I do know that there are many spots that would interest you on the Goulburn River between Buxton and Eildon. I highly recommend that you read Brian Fullwood's report which you can typically find at http://www.fishvictoria.com/pprotips/pt_main.php. Hope this helps.

Neil is looking for a fly fishing spot in Narre Warren. May I suggest the Berwick Springs Lake, it has just been restocked and there are some lovely little fish being caught on Powerbait, small lures and flies. Good luck, hope to catch up with you one day.
