Seeking tips for Lake Mulwala

Danny writes:
Anyone got any tips about Lake Mulwala?
(23 August 2002)

Butch replies:
Danny, regarding Lake Mulwala, here are a few basic tips for you. 1. If boating, use a tinny or someone else's glass boat; there is plenty of timber and that's where the fish are.
2. Use unweighted line, a sinker only helps you find more timber. 3. Don't fish too heavy; most of the cod caught are around the 2-4kg mark and after the initial hit are not that hard to land (usually!). 4. MOST IMPORTANT! Get some advice from the local sports store. Good Luck!
