Is amonia smell normal in lobster?
Kim writes
I went to dinner the other evening and ordered lobster. I ate part of it and then kept smelling this smell of amonia. I asked the person I was eating with to smell it and she agreed, then I cut the lobster tail in half and the amonia was so strong that it burned my eyes... I have never heard of this... can you can sick from that? Is amonia smell normal in lobster and I have just never noticed it before? I am very upset as the restaurant acted as though I just didn't want to pay my bill, I was very upset. They continued to say that they smelled nothing and it was so strong that they had to have something wrong with them not to smell it. Please let me know about this, thanks.
